Brian Nowack


is a licensed social worker, who received his Master's degree in Social Work from the Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University.  He has been in the field of mental health for 24 years and still carries the same passion for connecting with others as he did when he entered the profession.  Brian is Resolution Point Behavioral Health’s child and adolescent specialist,  working with identified challenges such as low self-esteem, symptoms of anxiety, and complying with rules and directions.  He also has extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ populations. He has done in-home family therapy, school-based counseling, crisis intervention, residential treatment, child study team case management, and telephonic crisis and assessments.  Brian is also an Advanced Trainer and 1 of 20 globally Certified Mentors in the Nurtured Heart Approach (tm), which is an excellent model for parents having difficulty connecting with their children, and has done various workshops for schools, mental health agencies, and families throughout NJ.  Brian's specialty is Structural Family Therapy under the model of Dr. Salvador Minuchin. Modalities include, but not limited to:  Nurtured Heart Approach, Structural Family Therapy, talk therapy, crisis intervention, and risk assessments.
