Thomas Washington, LSW
is a Licensed Social Worker who received his Master’s from New York University Silver School of Social Work. Working at a Partial Hospitalization Program for the past 4 years, Thomas now co-leads a Trauma-specific program facilitating psychoeducation and process groups for clients learning to address PTSD and trauma-related symptoms.
In bringing a mindfulness based-perspective to his practice, it is his goal to assist clients in exploring and deepening their awareness of thoughts and emotions. Thomas works to aid in the development of a self-generated space of non-judgment and compassion that can build resilience in difficult times.
Thomas has extensive knowledge in DBT, CBT, ACT and Trauma-Informed Care. Utilizing a flexible psychodynamic approach, Thomas can help provide tailored practical skills and support to assist clients dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, trauma, uncertainty, and change.
