Marlena Castro, LCSW
is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of practice in mental health. She obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work from Monmouth University. She has worked as a mental health clinician in a residential group home helping adolescent males who suffered from Depression, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Anxiety, and other disorders. Marlena has also worked as an Intensive In-Community Clinician (IIC) whose purpose is to strengthen, stabilize and preserve the family unit in the community. She has worked as a mental health clinician/crisis screener providing face-to-face crisis evaluation services and community outreaches for both children and adults.
At Resolution Point, Marlena works with clients ages 18-60 years old who wish to address Anxiety, Anger Management, Depression and Life Transitions. She uses a multi-disciplinary approach to assist her clients in achieving their treatment goals. Marlena is known for having a firm yet supportive demeanor.
